TNHSXC makes history. Team finished 9th (highest ever by a Nelson Co. School), Jarrett placed on the podium in 6th, Jarrett and Tyler both named KHSAA All-State Team. Super proud of our entire program and the way they have represented the TNHSXC family.

TNHSXC 10/27/15
Good morning TNHSXC family. It's Region week, albeit a somewhat soggy one. The kids are excited, nervous and full of energy coming off of this past weekend's course recon at Logan Co.
There is a lot of info here so please refer to the attachments and forms to make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible this week.

Some important documents -
Inhaler forms are attached - any runner who is prescribed an inhaler must have this form on site! I can get the ones from Physicians to Children, but we have had trouble getting them released from other offices. So, let's get on this right away. Let me know who needs one.
Most importantly, let's continue to prepare, stay relaxed, eat smart, get good rest and get ready to MAKE SOME MORE HISTORY!
TNHSXC 10/22
Good morning TNHSXC family. We have so much to celebrate and so much to look forward to. I want to pass along how many congratulations we've received for our history making performances Tuesday night. While I'm happy to hear it, it's really the kids and their supportive XC family that deserve all the credit. So to you - CONGRATULATIONS!
Moving forward, we have our most exciting (and sometimes unnerving) part of the season. These teams are poised to make history again by sending complete boys and girls teams to the State meet.

Running the course - Jarrett, Tyler
I plan on leaving TNHS at noon on Saturday, that is 11:00 CST. That should put us in Russellville at 1:00ish - plenty of time to walk/jog the course ahead of time. I can take a couple of kids with me and will be stopping in Boston to pick up Clay Dones. If any other Boston people need rides from there, I'm sure we can accommodate.
Please understand the importance of getting on the course ahead of Region, and please know that every athlete's individual performances are taken into consideration when planning these last crucial runs prior to Region. Every runner Saturday will have a specific race plan to make that day most beneficial to them. Our team scores obviously will not reflect our strength, and that's OK.
Please let us know how we can help in getting kids out to Logan Co. on Saturday, as I realize many parents can't get out there.
10 days! Region is in 10 days

TNHSXC 9/30/15
Good soggy morning TNHSXC family. We had overwhelmingly positive feedback during and following the Hillbilly Run. That is due, in large part, to you. Without the tremendous outpouring of support from our XC family, that event would not have been possible. From the concession stand, to driving the sag wagon, to manning the gates, to the HUGE task that is parking, you all stepped up. A thousand times - THANK YOU.
Moving forward, we have our final Popsicle Race here tonight, Greater L'ville on Saturday and then Fall Break to train and get ready to host another invitational here on Oc.t 10th!
10/3 Greater L'ville Classic @ EP Tom Sawyer -
GLC info is linked and attached. Notice the college times also. Justin Garagani and Sadie Middleton will be running at 12 and 12:45 respectively. I will already be up there running and watching their races so we will not caravan that day. Runners should be there one hour before their races -
High School Boys Invite 5k 1:15pm
High School Girls Invite 5k 1:45pm
Daily Practice - I appreciate the communication from those athletes that have to miss a practice. It takes a tremendous amount of responsibility to be good at our sport, and we are only 4 1/2 weeks away from REGION! Unless a runner hears an announcement or hears it directly from me - we are training. Yesterday, there were 12 runners here doing the GSM at 5:00. Those twelve were getting better. Kudos.
Fall Break -
Monday - no practice, kids have 8, 7, or 6 miles LD on their own. They will know which mileage is theirs.
Tuesday - 9:00 - 11:00 at TNHS
Wednesday - 6:00 - 8:00 at Dean Watts
Thursday - 9:00 - 11:00 at TNHS, lunch break, 12:30 - 3:00 coursework to prepare for Revolt on 10/10
Friday - 9:00 - 10:00 at TNHS, 10:30 - 12:00 coursework / venue prep for Revolt
