Good afternoon TNHSXC family. We had a terrific showing at the Run for the Gold in E'town this weekend. And, we had a number of XC family members represent at the Ndurance 5k/10k on Monday. Nice work to everyone who came out and raced or supported. Two results links here -
12th Annual Iron Horse 5k, Saturday Sept. 12th, 8:30 - this is wonderful race that we host, partially to give back to the New Haven community and also to fundraise. We will need help with registration, finish line, and course marshalling starting at 7:00 Saturday morning. All of our kids get to race for free, I only ask that they pay the $10 if they want a t-shirt. Spread the word, and get everyone you know out there for a nice 3.1 mile workout!
Bourbon Chase volunteers needed - a very unique and hugely popular event, the Bourbon Chase fills to capacity in a matter of minutes. I run on a team called Ultra Speakeasy, and it is hands-down my favorite event of the entire year. But, we need your help. Each team is responsible for providing two volunteers or we get slapped with a fee. The kids have seemed very interested, but individuals must be 18 years old. So, I'm reaching out to our extended XC family to see if anyone would be willing. The kids would like to come out and support, especially at the Templin exchange.
