Good afternoon TNHS XC family. We're nearing the start of our 2015-16 school year and looking forward to wrapping up a long summer of training. The kids are super excited about the upcoming season, as we have so many opportunities to continue building this program. It's a thick email, but please read it all. First off, some kudos - to all those dedicated runners, new and veterans, that have been sweating it out this summer building the base that will be the foundation for our achievements. They make me proud every day. Many run on their own, many came to our Running Camp as their first ever taste of distance running, many have relied on committed parents to cart them around, but they have all done some sort of work this summer to make themselves better. Just now ready to get back to it? Kudos for having the courage to start!
Friday, 8/1/15 - our last morning practice. Then we have Open House and the Back To School Bash. We will be handing out popsicles and doing some recruiting at the B2SB, please join us.
Monday/Tuesday, 8/3 and 8/4, 7:00 pm - we will train in the evenings at school. Hopefully we can dodge the heat index and storms.
Wednesday, 8/5/15 - after school practice begins. We will start meeting in my room, B113 at 3:30. Everyone needs to come to my room at 3:30!
