Good morning TNHS Track family. Well, after a weekend of constantly checking Region updates, the final State performance lists and rosters have been posted. I am honored that the following student athletes will be representing TNHS Track and Field on Friday at the KHSAA Class AA State Championships -
Boys 4x800 - Jarrett, Justin, Jake, Tyler (alternates - Brett, Andrew, Clay)
Girls 4x200 - Maggie, Madison, Marley, Alexis, (alternates - Mackenzie, Ali, Cameron, Champayne)
Boys 1600 - Jarrett, Tyler
Boys 800 - Tyler
Boys 3200 - Jarrett
Girls Pole Vault - Evelyn
Boys Pole Vault - Brandon
That's 21 total entrants! And, we had many narrowly miss. Girls 4x800 was just outside the top ten, bumped by a team in the very last Region to run - ouch.
We are still ironing out our Friday schedule, but we will have to leave school a little early as events begin at 4:30 (gates open at 3:30) Here are some links that will be helpful -
